But the truth is, when I first started trading, I had no clue what I was doing...

I basically knew nothing about day trading. All I knew was it was possible to buy a asset and it had the potential to go up in value. That was all the conviction I needed to get me intrigued to learn this skillset no one else around me knew about either.

I spent hours staring at a chart trying to understand what the candlesticks meant and what they were doing. But I found myself quickly annoyed because I wasn't making any money. So I did the next best thing (not really) I joined a signals chat, and after I few weeks I learned a lot but in the process of losing a lot of my portfolio. But I didn't quit. That is important lesson here.

After realizing joining a group to take trade signals wasn't for me, I realized I needed to build a strategy that made sense to me. My ‘strategy’ at the time was to use a bunch of different indicators to help me understand when to buy n sell.

However, you probably also know using a bunch of different indicators doesn't help either.
